Zero Influence Policy
SkinTechLab does not accept PR packages, sponsored content, or affiliate commissions. Every piece of hardware tested is purchased at retail price. Every formulation is analyzed strictly against established dermatological physics and chemistry.
Hardware Testing Protocol
- LED Therapy: Spectrometer analysis to verify wavelength accuracy (±2nm) and irradiance (mW/cm²) mapping across the entire treatment surface.
- Microcurrent: Oscilloscope mapping of waveforms and peak amplitude (µA) to ensure current remains within the 50-500 µA optimal ATP synthesis zone.
- Radiofrequency: FLIR thermal imaging to verify epidermal surface temperatures do not exceed 42°C, protecting against unintended subcutaneous fat atrophy.
Formulation Analysis
We do not review subjective user experiences. Formulations are scored against physical limits:
- Molecular Weight Limit: Enforcement of the 500 Dalton rule. If it's larger, it's flagged as a surface humectant, not an active structural modifier.
- pH & pKa Dependency: Calculation of free acid availability for chemical exfoliants and vitamin derivatives.
